No construction skills or tools are required. Habitat for Humanity for San Luis Obispo County will provide skilled construction staff to train the volunteers and supervise construction. All tools, safety equipment and building materials needed for the day will be provided. Wear weather and work appropriate attire and join the work site.

Giving Back to the Community

The Team Building Program is also a way for groups to give back to the community. Providing the required donation of $100 per volunteer per day covers the cost of the building materials, tools, safety equipment, and skilled supervision for the group. This donation is tax-deductible for the group (Habitat for Humanity for San Luis Obispo County is an official 501(c)3 nonprofit - tax ID 77-0434147). The group members will appreciate that through this Team Building Program they are not just having fun and learning, but also providing funds to build homes for families in need.
