Laetitia Winery every year releases their NADIA Quattro, a wine where the proceeds benefits two local charities. This year Laetitia has selected Habitat for Humanity for San Luis Obispo County along with Special Olympics for San Luis Obispo County. Just 740 cases will be made, with one dollar per bottle going to the two annually-selected charities.
“We are deeply grateful to have been selected as a recipient and are looking forward to partnering with Laetitia over the next year as we work to make a difference, one house at a time,” Julia Ogden, CEO of Habitat for Humanity for San Luis Obispo County. “The funds will be used to repair and maintain homes owned by our community’s low-income seniors so that they can age in their homes safely and securely.”
Tasting Notes (per http://www.laetitiawine.com/): Juicy notes of dark berry and black cherry are in perfect harmony with balancing layers of graphite, violets and black peppercorn. Barrel-aged influences of vanilla, espresso and cedar round out this food approachable wine. This wine is ‘giving’ on the palate, and further, we are giving $1 from the sale of each bottle to two local charities each year!
If you are a wine lover this is a great way to support Habitat. You can buy the NADIA Quattro from Laetitia’s website.
