Sierra Bonita Coalition
A Habitat Neighborhood Revitalization Effort
What is the Sierra Bonita Coalition?
The Sierra Bonita Coalition is a group of residents and community members that are dedicated to improving the Sierra Bonita community. The mission of the coalition is for Sierra Bonita neighbors to work together to enhance and strengthen the community. The coalition focuses on the acronym THRIVE — trust, health, revitalization, independence, vitality, and empowerment.
Based on the results of a community survey, the coalition created a Community Action Plan in order to prioritize the needs of the community. The action plan focuses on issues including the conditions of the street and sidewalks, cleaning up medians and parks, criminal activity in the community, and creating programs for residents.
