Construction Managers and Crew Leaders:

Habitat for SLO County builds its new homes, rehabilitates homes, and engages in its home preservation program primarily with volunteer labor. To be successful in our work, it is important that our volunteers are trained and supervised by construction managers and crew leaders who have construction and building experience.

We are seeking volunteers who are willing to serve as a construction manager or crew leader with our three construction efforts. Construction managers must be licensed contractors, and our crew leaders must have experience in construction and repair of homes. Habitat construction managers and crew leaders will be asked to train, lead, and interact with volunteers in their work on construction sites.

If you are interested in volunteering as an HFHSLOCO Construction Manager or Crew Leader, please contact Claire at 805-782-0687 or by email at volunteer@hfhsloco.org. Our success is built on the good will and support of our volunteers, and we are deeply grateful for their continued commitment to providing affordable housing in San Luis Obispo County!

ReStore Volunteers:

Volunteers assist with the processing and sale of donated materials and general operations of our ReStores. Habitat for Humanity for San Luis Obispo County has two ReStores- one in Paso Robles and one in San Luis Obispo. Volunteers are needed to work either a morning shift from 9am-1pm or  an afternoon shift from 1pm-5pm.
